No to Wildlife - Yes to Citylife

Die Wettervorhersage für Melbourne war nicht schlecht heute. Genau richtig für einen Stadtbummel. Von Ewalds Farm in the Middle of Nowhere bis in die Stadtmittel von Melbourne sind es ca. 90 Minuten. Den Wagen haben wir bei einem Freund von Ewald in Toorak abgestellt und sind mit dem Bus in die Stadt bei 20 Grad und blauem Himmel gefahren. Neben dem obligatorischen Shopping Bummel in Myers Mall haben wir den Victoria Market besucht und sind mit der Strassenbahn zur Flinders Street Station gefahren um eine Stadtrundfahrt zu machen. Diese fiel leider nach ca. 30 Minuten in Little Italy buchstäblich ins Wasser. Der Regen hat uns noch bis zu unserem Heimweg begleitet.

Trotzdem: Nice Day, no Wildlife, lots of fun.

The weather forecast for Melbourne wasn't that bad for today. Good for a tour to Melbourne. The drive from Ernie's Farm in the Middle of Nowhere to down town Melbourne is approximately 90 minutes. We parked Ernie's car at the property of a friend in Toorak and took a bus to Melbourne. We did some shopping in the Myers Mall, visited the Victoria Market and took the tram to the famous Flinders Street Station where we hopped on a bus for a sightseeing tour. Unfortunately after 30 minutes when we just were admiring Little Italy it started to rain with a heavy storm. The rain accompanied us till we nearly got home.

Anyway: Nice Day, no Wildlife, lots of fun.
